Project: Mental

"Mental – The Kenyan School" is an expedition led by Olympikus, Brazil’s largest sports brand. In this project, the brand took a group of professional athletes to Kenya to train alongside the world’s best runners. The chosen destination was Iten, famously known as the Home of Champions. Guided by world-class coach Elkana Ruto and Brazilian trainer Ademir Paulino, the athletes immersed themselves in the Kenyan training philosophy, experiencing its depth both physically and mentally.

To share this journey with the world, Olympikus released a documentary capturing the full story, along with a photography book offering a unique perspective on the experience. The book’s cover was inspired by Olympikus’ most iconic running shoe, while its color palette reflected the essence of Iten. Given as a gift to participants, the book is also available for viewing in Kenya, symbolizing the bond between Kenyans and Brazilians through their shared passion for running.
